Deflated, inflated

It happened again -- someone I know expressed surprise that I was out of work and looking for a job.
Obviously, I'm not saying this loud enough: I'm out of work, and looking for a job.
If you have any leads, know of any jobs in the San Francisco area that I might be qualified for, or have any ideas about directions I should try pursuing, please let me know. Write to me at this LJ name at aol.com.
I'm smart, hard-working, polite, and pleasant to be around (if I do say so myself). (
qbear adds "humble and lovable.")
Heck, in the right field, like web development or something similarly creative, even an unpaid internship would be appreciated. Anything to get me busy working.

My friend Mark (
kybearfuzz) likes to draw bears as superheroes, and now he's drawn me as one. Thanks, Mark, it was good fun to collaborate with you, and seeing an idealized version of myself as a superhero really brightened my day.
