Sing-a-long Sound of Music

If you ever go to the audience-participation Sing-a-long Sound of Music, it pays to sit near [livejournal.com profile] fuzzygruf, who has some great lines. My favorite was when the Christopher Plummer said to Uncle Max, "Max, it's like I don't even know you" ... to which Gary yelled out, "Check out my Facebook!"

Added a section on my bearcooks site for Cold Weather Stews. If you don't know what to make tonight, check out the Stew-o-matic at the bottom of the page.

I'm so sorry I missed it tonight. My flight was delayed.

Great site you have. I love those old cook books! I have a few of them. So strange what was "in" for food each decade!

You know, if you have some old favorite recipes, I'd love to add you to our site! You'd be under "bear friends' recipes." What do you say?

Sounds like fun. I'll take a look and transcribe a few recipes including pics.

The cast and director of the show I designed last fall never tired of quoting 'phonetically' from "The Sound of Music", but just one line, spoken by the reverend mother: "What is it you cunt-face, Maria?"....

They went into gales, every time!

We laugh at that line too, but there was some other bit of humor before it at this showing, so it was drowned out in the laughter.
