Not quite, dear

So it was a lovely sunny day, and qbear and myself decided to walk down to Noe Valley and browse the shops there.

As we were walking down Castro Street towards 24th, on the other side of the street we spy another bear couple, walking in the opposite direction. We give them a look to see who they are, and nod in recognition of our mutual bearishness.

Just then, a middle-aged woman scampers out of double-parked van and laughs in a loud voice, "I saw that! Two bear couples walking down the street, and they got to check each other out!"

And then she adds, before moving on up the street:

"Arf!"

quirkypandacub pointed me to this entry...it was none too funny.

I was on the Vanness street platform of Muni...2 weeks ago, and I was wearing a BML Tee Shirt..

As I was standing there waiting for the J Church, I heard someone say "WOOF". I didn't do anything. Again someone said "Woof", and then I remembered that I was wearing the BML Tee shirt...the guy who woofed came over to me and I laughed saying "Its sez..."Just Say Woof", so I did!
Since you are San Franciscan, would you mind if I Friend you?

Yeah I remember you! Wondered where you disappeared to. Seems that we've lost touch with some of the old gang in Phoenix over the years.

It's because of this whole metrosexual movement. Once qgain, straight folks have come to realize how cool we are, so they feel the need to join in. We've come to a point where we need to reinvent ourselves. Who will bring this issue up to the committee?
