So I'm driving
qbear driving through Noe Valley on the way to work this morning, and the driver in the car in front of us is slowing down, swerving, and just annoying us. "Turn here ... let's get away from this hootchie," Jack says, using one of his favorite terms, so I turn onto 21st to get out from behind the guy.
A few blocks later, we're traveling south on Delores and the same driver pulls out of a side street and in front of us yet again. "That hootchie!" Jack spits out. "I'm surrounded by hootchies!" And then, since he's stretching out his arms, he pats my shoulder.
I look at him. "Hey! What are you calling me?"
He pauses, two beats. "I wuv you," he says.

Been hitting the gym fairly hard late. Classes don't start for another week, so my mornings have been spent at the gym, and afternoons at home either working on the web site or studying for the upcoming classes. Never let it be said that I can't budget my time.
