fightingchicken last Sunday at the Lone Star. A really cool guy, who likes a lot of the same music I do. (Which is how I decide someone is a cool guy.) He also has a track on iahklu's Hot Hands Throwing Muses tribute CD (of which I've been meaning to buy a half dozen copies). qbear and I also spent some time with some of the usual local suspects, like iberianbear and bearzbub. Finally met arkanjil in person, and reacquainted ourselves with urso, after having met him briefly about four years ago. Also met, for the first time, some of the other local bears I've chatted with on cam programs.

Speaking of cam programs, someone asked me last night on icuii if I was the same rootbeer1 who kept a live journal.
Wow! I have a reading public!
And this was someone I didn't know at all, just some cute bear from Florida. The only other time this happened was whenjgrizz asked me on ispq if I was the same as the Live Journalist ... but I already knew him from Live Journal, so it didn't come as completely out of the blue.
