all of us
Ray ([livejournal.com profile] profkampf), me, Bill ([livejournal.com profile] bearbeat) and Bill's husband Joe recently shared
a house in Provincetown, Mass., for Bear Week.

punchie
Our house threw a Hawaiian-themed cocktail party Monday evening that proved so popular that a
hundred bears were converging outside the house, trying to get inside to get to the alcohol. I
suggested that next year the cocktail party theme be "zombies attack," and just tell the
partygoers to shuffle and moan "Brains!" as they arrive.

title or description
[livejournal.com profile] greatbearmd and husband Jeff enjoy punch at the party. Looks like they've already gotten lei'd.

smoggy
[livejournal.com profile] sunsmogseahorse and cute Nick from Scotland get sweaty at the Hawaiian party.

lesbie
Ray chats with lesbian comic Lea Delaria, who we ran into on the street. P-town is gayer than ever, and this
proves it.

cottagie
Bill and I stopped by this cottage to say hello to a friend of his who had rented it for the week. Isn't it adorable? And it's hidden right behind the main street of Provincetown.

schoonerie
Glynn and Mark from Atlanta, and Joe and Bill, aboard the Bay Lady II for a sunset ride around the bay. Glynn and Mark are notorious kissers and instigated a big free-for-all at the Boatslip pool the final day of Bear Week.

dwightie
Me with Dwight, a friend of Mark and Glynn's, aboard the Bay Lady II.

scruffy
Jon ([livejournal.com profile] scruffmutt) looks a bit blurry compared to Bill and Ray. Well, I'd had a bit much to drink that week.

singy
The last night in town we took in a performance of Jimmy James, a well-known vocal stylist. Here
we see him using his rich, deep basso profundo voice to sing "Old Man River" below the threshold
of human hearing.

hattie
Ray and I ducked into Provincetown Marine Supply to get out of the rain, and took the opportunity
to try on some of the hats.

brown bonnet
After the week was over, we went back to Boston (actually, Melrose) for the traditional ice
cream and mini-golf, wih Ray filling in for [livejournal.com profile] qbear. But we skipped the mini-golf and played
Skeeball instead, and won enough gift tickets to get plastic vampire teeth for Bill and myself.
