Holiday stuff

Well, we had quite a pleasant little Thanksgiving here. We haven’t done a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at home since 2003, so we invited a bunch of friends over (
profkampf and
poohbearjim,
foodpoisoningsf,
simonbear,
cubbcake, and Mel and Victor, who collectively go by
bearndahl) and made the usual turkey, stuffing, gravy, etc., accompanied by side dishes, drinks and desserts brought by our guests. (Kevin alone brought three pies!)

After dinner, when we were all lying around like beached whales, we watched a ridiculous ”Santa vs. Satan” movie that proved well-suited for heckling, and then some Looney Tunes cartoons off the new DVD box set, including the one where Porky Pig stutters, “Son of a … son of a … son of a … son of a gun! Heh heh heh, bet you thought I was going to say son of a bitch!”

Jack (
qbear) carves up the turkey, like he always does

James (
cubbcake) and Phil (
foodpoisoningsf) relax before dinner

Kevin (
simonbear), Jim (
poohbearjim), Ray (
profkampf) and James finish up dinner

Kevin and Ray relax after eating, or maybe it was before eating
