Your entry reminded me of 2 dreams I've had in the past year or so. One was based on the now ubiquitous MTV show, 'Pimp my Ride', except it was hosted by a friend of mine (we'll call him DJ Ramji) and he said at the beginning of the show: "Little John's only got 300Gb for warez and pr0n, but don't worry Jonnie, I'm about to 'Pimp your RAID'".
The show spiralled off into every SAN/storage combo imaginable, complete with bling bling swarovski encrusted lit firewire and usb cables, and top of the range NetApp with attachable iPod dock.
The Second show was an analog of the 'The Weakest Link', which in my dream morphed to 'The Cheapest Link'. Members of the public were let loose in couture stores for 2 minutes and had to get an outfit together. Basically, whoever had the cheapest/tackiest ensemble had to leave the game.
I could dive into the murky realm of alternate tv shows also. I had a dream about a show called 'Fiends' (hint: +r) in which 6 people with no visible forms of income and endless free time find ways of maiming each other in New York.
