Hairrison street fair

rootbeer1Last night’s big group dinner came off fine, although I find that with Todai, I’m happiest once I’m there and I see the food -- it’s all so pretty and colorful! Yum! qbear and myself were profkampf, poohbearjim, sf_luke, double_ohsteven, daved010, fuzzygruf, Bob Singer (not on LJ), sfobear, sfopanda, darkphuque, quirkypandacub, and coming in late, chukspace and drj0402.
Only half the numbers of last year’s Saturday night Hairrison dinner, but it’s a smaller fair this year.

And we just got back from the fair, where we saw tons of folks, mettwnchicago for the first time, and enjoyed John (keanubear) Ashfield’s band (once again named the Bobbleheads). Here they are, rocking out (although guitarist Gina is too far on the left and isn’t in the pic):

Overall, the predictions of doom for the street fair this year were off the mark. We had a fine time again, and hope there are many more Hairrisons in the future.
